With me, you’re welcome as
you are.
Hi there, I’m Samia El Osta
I’m a therapist who’s also been to therapy, and just as you’re doing now, I scanned therapists’ websites trying to figure out from their smiles and the way they looked back at me in their pictures if they’d be someone I could open up to. I had to decipher what all those acronyms after a therapist’s name stand for and I weighed whether one set of credentials meant a therapist was more capable of helping me than another. In my heart though, I knew that all these therapists were more than qualified to help me but more than anything else, I wanted a therapist who would welcome me as I am, without pretence. So, dear visitor, feel at ease knowing that with me you’re welcome just as you are.
Together we can unpack whatever it is you’re struggling with and find pathways that lead you back to those feelings of joy, contentment, and gratitude that truly anchor you. My goal is that by working together in 50-minutes sessions, one session at a time, you’ll be reminded that no matter the challenges you’re grappling with, life can still be good, and beautiful, and full. I want you to leave each session with a take-away that lifts your spirit and gives you a tangible tool to practice in the week before we meet again.
You be you. I’ll be honest, open hearted, and skilled. Together, we’ll find a way to amplify your wellbeings.

How We’ll Work Together

Collaborative Teamwork
Our therapeutic relationship will be based in trust, kindness, and encouragement. I won’t tell you what to do, but together, we’ll make insights and find opportunities for you to choose what’s best for you and your wellbeing.

Therapy Goals
Each session will be used to help you reach your therapy goals. We’ll develop a shared understanding of your challenges and why they persist, and we’ll identify steps to help you think in new ways and develop new habits. We’ll do this using a variety of tools and resources that are backed up by scientific evidence.

Ongoing Check-Ins
In each session we’ll discuss your progress and I’ll ask for your feedback about how therapy is going thus far. It’s so important to me that you feel truly understood and that the skills I introduce you to make sense and are applicable to your daily life. Your voice matters in every session
